Is it really just a file?

Yes. After buying you get a sheet with a download link; it downloads one .html file, you open it in Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox, and it is a working app. That is the whole install.

Can I use it on my phone and my computer?

Yes — with the web version. Tap "Open it on the web" on your access sheet, sign in, and every device shows the same plan. The downloaded file keeps your plans on one device only.

Is there a subscription?

No. One payment per planner, yours forever, and updates are free from the same link.

Where does my data live?

In your browser, on your device. The file you download never sends it anywhere. The web version keeps it in your browser too, until you choose to sign in - then one copy is kept on our server so your devices agree. See Privacy.
